First Landing Auto Care

Had to drop my car off over night to get my tire patched and the price was higher than other shops, but it was the closest to where I was and I was moving out of town the next day so I did what I had to. The friendliness of the staff and the reply to my review changed my view of my review... They made a great points! Glad they reached back out here to validate why they cost more.

They were timely and completed what was asked. But I did feel like they were trying to get more business than what I asked for. I wanted just an oil change and they did a full inspection even though I had got one completed one month prior and passed, and never asked for an inspection. When they called to say my car was ready, they were very pushy about getting other things fixed or completed based off their inspection that again, I never agreed to prior. I had a small crack on my windshield that was fixed, certified and cleared for inspection and they tried to tell me it would not pass which was not true. Overall, as a small neighborhood shop, I didn’t appreciate a 10 minute conversation about all the things I needed to do to my car when I requested just an oil change but the service was completed and price was slightly higher than I priced matched. If you are looking for a place to have your car worked on, this is the place. Super friendly, down to earth mechanics that do a great job. Had state inspection and oil change done, excellent service. Recommend them for your auto care !
