Platinum Plus Auto Repair

I dropped my car off 2 hours before closing for a state inspection. I called midday the following day and my car had not been serviced, that they “didn’t have time” to get to it. In fact, they had no idea when my car would be ready and could not give me an estimate. Unprofessional attitudes and clearly they have issues with time management.

First let me start off with saying I never leave reviews, ever. So please know that this negative review came from a place I've never been. Last week I noticed that my car was experiencing some issues, I didn't know exactly what it was, I didn't have a light in on my dashboard but could just tell something was off. I saw wonderful reviews about this location and decided it would be a safe repair shop. Friday, I dropped my car off to them, they diagnosed my car (it was the brakes) and suggested I get my brakes replaced along with 100k maintenance. I declined on the 100k maintenance as they were quoting me over $2000, however I did get the brakes done. I ended up paying around $1,100 for new brakes. Fine. They called me around 5:15 PM and I picked my car up around 5:30 PM as they closed at 6 PM. When I got into my vehicle I noticed the ABS and Traction lights on on my dashboard. They closed in 30 minutes and I assumed because I had new brakes installed maybe that was the reason. The week

Dropped my car off for a tune up, they told me I needed over $3k worth of maintenance. I Obliged and payed the cost to be on the safe side. When I received my truck the next day I immediately noticed a low oil pressure light. Asked the tech who assured me the pressure was okay and that I needed a oil pressure sensor. I bought and replaced the oil pressure sensor with the same exact result afterwards. Dropped my truck of for the THIRD time and they then inform me I need a new oil pump for an additional $1500. I was irritated at by point and had my truck taken elsewhere. New shop informs me that nothing that was sold or serviced by Platinum auto was necessary and that they misdiagnosed over and over on my hard-earned dime. I'm now being told I need a new engine and have never ever had a problem prior to dropping my vehicle off with these clowns.
