Had grinding and popping from the front end Zach said he could not look into it for two days. Next morning told me I needed brakes and other maintenance. I asked then and again when I paid the inspection fee if I could drive it he said twice yes. I asked again if it was really the brakes making all that noise. He said yes or the 4WD actuator . I drove out of there and immediately called a tow truck . The brakes have 1/2 of the pad left and the 4WD works fine. Glad I did not drive until it burnt off .Apparently they cannot diagnose a bad front wheel bearing at Edgemont. UPDATE: After this review Zack contacted me and refunded the inspection fee. I have taken my vehicles to Edgemont Auto Service a couple of times following the recommendation of my brother-in-law and have never been displeased. My older car is currently being evaluated for a potential major repair ($2k). I have been very impressed with their honesty and integrity. They do not have a crystal ball, but I'm impressed that they look carefully at things, and give me a thorough opinion. This has helped me decide whether or not I want to try to keep this car for another 150k miles or purchase a new car. They do not rush through just to tell me what they think I want to hear in order to get more business. They do very good work at a reasonable cost. That's the kind of business I'm willing to support and spread the word about. Five Stars to Edgemont in my opinion Update April 2023 - I still have the same care, and 25,000 miles later, it's still running well. I felt that Edgemont mechanics gave me a fair price to do the work they recommended, and it has held up. I
