Driver's Edge

Driver’s Edge in Prosper is our go to place for our cars no longer under warranty. They are straight forward and honest regarding services and repairs. The front desk staff are courteous and give great customer care. Would definitely recommend this location. Services: Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection, Wiper blade installation, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Started off okay. Everyone seemed nice. They struggled diagnosing my issue, which is fine because it was intermittent anyway. Not a big deal. So so I wanted to do the regular scheduled maintenance to see if that would fix the issue but when the bill came due they were charging over twice as much for the parts that I could get retail. I could get the exact same parts that this place was going to put in for over $500 cheaper than they were charging me. And when I confronted Rick about it he said “well idk what to tell you, that’s what we charge”. Keep in mind this is parts only they’re doubling, before labor was even calculated in. I agreed to do 1 set of the 8 parts because I figured I could do the rest myself and when I told Rick that I just wanted one replaced, I got nothing but attitude from him. Then when picking up the truck the price of the part changed AGAIN. So I just paid and left. Overall very untrustworthy and Rick isn’t the nicest guy. Wouldn’t even look at me when picking

I’ve been a customer with 3 cars for the last 4 years and trust Driver’s Edge to either complete my work or advise me on the best way to tackle any issue they don’t feel confident in repairing. Integrity or a lack of it always shines through and I’d say 4 years later they’ve earned my trust.
