Todd’s Auto Repair

Todd charged me $125 for him to come up with the cost of repair. It is not "diagnostic" cause I know exactly what needs to be repaired, and he did not inform me of the surcharge beforehand. Apparently, he realized thad he evaluated his services too low for him, so he charged extra $4 on top of that to compensate himself for this great inconvenience. Very polite though, so here's one star for that. Cheers

Took my jeep in for valve cover gasket replacement, drove it home. Next morning check engine light is on and smoke has filled the cab. They came to pick it up and replaced spark plugs and 02 sensor. Didn’t fix the problem, was told “1000% positive the catalytic converter was bad.” Felt something was off so took the jeep to another shop and they found connectors with bent pins on the 02 sensor that was just replaced and another sensor, leaky loose clamps on radiator hose near exhaust, a misrouted radiator hose, and found that the catalytic converter was not the problem. Will NOT be returning to Todd’s shop at either location. Was told all of these problems had to have been existing! Todd did not seem to care that a problem had happened! I highly recommend bringing your Jeep or other vehicle here. Todd and his crew were upfront and honest from the start. Todd did something that shop owners don't do, he originally estimated 10k to fix my Jeep then helped me with other ways to fix everything and brought the price down to about 7k. Todd worked with me to prioritize mandatory vs things that can wait. They stayed patient with me even when I add things to the list. After I was all paid up, with keys in my hand they continued to answer questions and explain the new parts that were installed, they even programed the reo system for me. They worked hard and earned a customer for life.
