AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

AAMCO in White Plains was a Godsend. Five star rating is not even enough. We will be taking a 4 hour road trip that week when the engine light came off. The car doesn't have power and does not accelerate well. I went to my regular mechanic and the code showed something to do with the transmission. The mechanic advised me to take it to the dealer or transmission specialist. I went to the dealer and after their diagnosis, told me the car need a new transmission which will cost around $9,000. I thought of getting a second opinion and the first thing that pop up when I search for transmission specialist was AAMCO in White Plains. NY. Jeff answered my call. Jeff was very attentive and accommodating. Jeff then told me after listening attentively that base on his experience it sounded more on electrical than transmission. He then told me to come and arranged a date for the car to be thoroughly inspected and diagnosed. Sure indeed. it was electrical. The great thing is, instead of me paying $9
