McCarthy Chevrolet of Overland Park Service

This was a very pleasant experience. I called another local Dealer some months ago and they weren’t at all accommodating, I was eventually placed on hold when I called them, and I hung up the phone after waiting 15 minutes and no response. So when I called Morse Chevrolet they connected me with the Service Center, the service person Chris was very polite, and patient with assisting me with my problem. Chris was very kind in walking me through the process of my vehicles Recall repair. I felt like a valued customer, it was a bright spot in my day.

Made an online appointment August 24 for September 1. The appointment was made with the request that the transmission be looked at due to shifting issues, as well as other minor issues. When dropping off was advised that this could not happen due to the wait for such issues being 5 days. When advised that the online appointment was made with the issues stated, the Service Consultant advised that they don’t look at online appointments and it is up to the customer to follow up with a phone call. I ended up just getting an oil change and new key with key fob which took 3.5 hours which seemed a little excessive. This is by far the worst McCarthy dealership and will never be back. I needed to get my truck in for service before Christmas. Not only did they have time to get me in, but they shared that I still had a free oil change available as a certified pre-owned vehicle. Great service. Great bonus gift.
