I went in last week to have my brakes checked. I told them my brakes needed to be checked because they were making a grinding noise. The guy assisting me took my car for a drive and came back and told me that the brakes were fine and had "a lot of life left in them" and that the noise was probably a rock that got stuck in the tires. Exactly one week later I brought it to the other peerless location and was told I needed all four brake pads and rotars changed because it was metal on metal.
