I was referred here a few years ago from a very good friend and I also referred my mom. We both had problems after problems with our cars and his excuse was always, they are old cars, but both are well under 100,000 miles andverywellkept. Every time we got our cars back, it had another problem. I just had power steering fixed September 11th and not even 2 weeks later, we have more problems and the power steering is not fixed right. There was something that he quoted me for almost $300 and I called other places and they said $200 for that issue. Paul already "fixed" it but i showed him quotes from other places and he knocked money off.. i really paid attention to the his hourly rate until recently. $150 an hour is beyond ridiculous! I made so many calls to other mechanics and they charge $75-$100. I had bad feelings about this place for a long time and its my fault for not finding someone else long time ago. My neighbor referred me here last Fall after they had a great experience. I needed help quick as my car was leaking some mystery liquid. Lambton's Auto did a full inspection and found several problems with my car (2009 with 120k miles on it, not parked in a garage for years, so no surprise there). They explained all the issues and walked me through what services they could provide. The price was pretty fair and all the problems they identified lined up with the year, mileage, etc. of the car. This was Nov 2022 and no problems with my car since. All staff were very friendly, good neighborhood people. As a woman, I did not feel taken advantaged of and will definitely return if needed in the future!
