My car's engine (2014 Acura MDX) flickered whenever I tried to start it this morning so I had it jump started and drove it to this auto shop. I explained the situation to the manager and asked if they could check and replace the battery for me if necessary - he said yes. I left the engine running so he drove it in. Some minutes later, Kristopher walked up to me and 'the battery is good' and turned around to leave right away. I walked up to him and told him I dont understand what he meant. He repeated the same thing and then I asked him why the car wouldnt start if the battery was good, according to him. He said he doesnt know - the word order only said to do a battery check ...rudely. I told him the person who I spoke with knows it's likely a battery issue and should be replaced. Again he repeated that he was asked to only check the battery and that's all he's going to do.
