Subaru Service

Subaru is who I have bought all of my vehicles from since I was 19 years old. The service I have received has always been seem less. I have leased my last three vehicles and Curt and Chris make this the easiest thing I do.

Service department is quite literally the worst I’ve experienced to date with ANY dealership I’ve been to. For example, we were scheduled for a routine oil change and quoted an hour, hour fifteen for service. No problem, pretty typical. We’ll take a shuttle over to the mall, shop around and shuttle back. We do that and spend over an hour and a half, then head back to the dealer. We ask service if our vehicle was completed and given the answer “oil changes are taking two hours fifteen to complete”. Ok we’ll wait….I guess. Then service said our vehicle hadn’t even been moved into the garage for service yet it was likely going to take longer. Ridiculous! If we had known it was going to take all day to do a routine oil change WE WOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT A SUBARU. Save your time. Save your money. Go buy from a company that won’t take advantage of your time, and money.

Poor communication in the service department!! After confirming the phone number to contact once service was through, the previous owner was called instead of my number. Luckily, this was my mother in law, who then let me know they recommended the car have an alignment adjustment. I called the service department (the first time) to confirm that I wanted the service, leaving a message with the receptionist who could not find the service provider, and so would jave the service provider call me back. An hour later I called back again, and this time the receptionist said she would relay the message. When my mother in law was again contacted in the afternoon that the car was ready, she let me know, and I went to the dealership to find that the message was never conveyed to the service provider to adjust the alignment. (Of note, my appointment for a standard oil change and tire rotation was made at 845, and we received the notification that the car was ready at 245- seemed long, but after al
