We moved into the area after living in Appleton for 18 years. We had to find new places for all our basic service needs, which isn't always fun or successful. I feel MORE than fortunate that we found A-1, the name says it ALL, they are friendly, honest, accommodating, knowledgeable and a joy to work with. Nobody wants to spend a bunch of money on car repairs but they spell out their recommendations and give you options on what your car needs. They don't nickel and dime you and they do high quality repairs. I thought we had a great place where you used to live and this place might even be better! I had used A-1 to repair my truck once before and had a positive experience. The first time my power steering lines were rusted and leaking. Again, a-1 fixed those lines fast and at a competitive price. This time my transmission lines were rusted and leaking fluid in a steady stream. I dropped my truck off on a Monday morning, and my car was ready the following afternoon. A-1 repaired my vehicle at a very reasonable cost and, at my request, looked over the rest of my truck for possible issues. Communication was frequent, clear, and concise throughout the entire process. The inside of their shop is clean and comfortable. The owner and his son are friendly and polite. Have been going to A-1 for a long time. My daughter lives in Madison and her car broke down and she was towed to a garage to get a new starter. She called to ask me if the quote they gave hercwas correct. I contacted A-1 and one of the mechanics went through the problem with me and said there was no way it would be that much.
