Doesn't overcharge for services; always lets me know what is wrong with my car and asks me if I would like to repair it before hand instead of letting it go bad down the road. Great family business
PSA We have just had a very strange and unnerving experience with this mechanic. Steve’s Auto Repair drastically over quoted me (1100-1300$) and refused to put the quote in writing for a claim I had to make for damage done to my car. He was so adamant about it that he refused to fix my car and told me to get it off his lot!! He wasn’t going to “get in a pissing contest” with the company I was making the claim with. I took the car to Regency Tire and Auto and the repairs were not as extensive as Steve’s Auto Repair said and it cost only 206$ to repair my car. Do not use Steve’s Auto Repair!
I have been going to this place for 15 years and will not go to anyone else, ever, while I live in this area. Steve is an outstanding human, honest to the core, and you'll not find a better mechanic or human out there to care for your car.
