My daughter was stranded with a flat tire 30 minutes from home the day before Thanksgiving. I traveled over to check things out and ended up taking the wheel off and searching for the closest auto shop in the area. It was Gayton Automotive. Realizing it was the last day before a major US holiday, I knew my i odds were slim to get this tire fixed that day. Needless to say, it was was repaired and i was able to get my daughter back on the road that same day. The staff was very friendly and approachable. So much so that I may go 30 minutes out of my way just to get my own car serviced here. This experience got my Thanksgiving holiday off to a great start. I took my car there for a second opinion because I didn't believe the dealer. Gayton confirmed my suspicions. Dealer said the belt tensioner was leaking and the belt needed to be replaced ($470.00). Plus, brake pads and rotors 405.00. Gayton said the belt wasn't cracked and it was a seep, rather than a leak and it would probably be up to year before it would need replacing. Also, the brakes didn't need to be done right away. I took my car in for an oil change and begore I left, I had a bill for $1200.00 in additional repairs. The dealer also recommended a cabin filter change, something I had done myyself in about 12 minutes. I left Gayton paying $89.00. Bye bye dealer.

Great place! Very trustworthy and reliable. I never feel like they are adding "extras" onto the work that is needed for my vehicles. I would definitely recommend Gayton Automotive to anyone that feels overwhelmed at a mechanic.
