G&C Tire and Auto Service

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is hands-down one of the best auto shops I have ever been to. I found them on google, as I was looking for a shop to do my state safety inspection. I did not call to make an appointment, but, the owner, Greg, fit me in right away. He is one of the kindest, most personable, and professional mechanics I have met. His wife, Christina, is also a gem. While Bryan and Robert worked on my car (also stellar), Christina took the time to give me a tour of their beautiful and very comfortable establishment. They have three waiting rooms and really good refreshments (soda, water, ice cream, etc.). I waited in the Man Cave, watching tv, while they worked on my car. They wrapped up my inspection in a timely manner, and didn't even charge me to fix my turn signal socket, which had to be fixed in order to pass inspection. I am SO glad I found this shop. They have a slick sales operation but are expensive and appear to recommend unnecessary repairs. We took the car in for a major repair. However, they recommended nearly $5,000 in repairs and even stated the car would fail inspection, as it was due. They made the over priced repair but I declined all other recommendations. A few days later, I had the car inspected at a gas station and it passed the first time. They've trained their customer facing staff to be empathetic and sell, sell, sell. But, the experience was disappointing both in terms of price and trust.

They have all the technology and send detailed inspection reports with pictures, cost estimates and easy to understand analysis straight to your phone before doing any work so you know exactly what to expect, every time.
