I was impressed by their thorough diagnostic. I initially thought that the squealing noise my vehicle made when braking was coming from the front brakes. They did their own diagnostic and determined that the problem was with the rear brakes. They took the time to bring me into the garage and show me all the brakes and gave me an explaination of their condition. They suggested that we leave the front brakes alone because they appeared fine and focus the repair on the rear brakes. I went with their suggestion and my brakes have worked perfectly since. I went in to have brake pads done and they played the whole “your rotors are too thin” card which I have heard far too many times over the years as an attempt to up-sell to a service that costs twice as much. I pressed him on the issue because I’ve done multiple brake jobs and rotor replacements myself over the years and he said he legally couldn’t put pads on a vehicle if the rotors were too thin—even if I told him to. I’ve been searching for a law that says that and haven’t been able to find one yet. That’s fine, I found somewhere else that would do it if I was willing to skip the lifetime warranty. I find it disingenuous when a company uses fear and your “safety” in order to leverage more profits for themselves. I prefer to be a fully informed consumer, understand the risks, and make my own decision about the trade off between your profit and my safety. My tire was almost flat. They got me right in. Took the tire off the wheel & searched for the problem. Turns out I have a defective wheel. They aired up my tire & when I asked what I owed them? No Charge!!! I will definitely return..????????
