AutoMenders Collision Repair

My vehicle was towed in for an estiment. I was sent a statement via email asking for permission and promising payment for them to start work on my car. I called them and told them I would not sign the paperwork because this was a teardown required by the insurance company to determine the Damage Done to my vehicle. The next thing I know my car was "repaired" and I owed a $500 deductible on a vehicle with 235,000 miles on it. Auto Menders employee said that my husband had given permission for them to repair our vehicle. This was not true at all. My husband went to the shop to get something out of the vehicle I noticed that the license plate was off. He inquired wondering if the car would be totaled because the license plate was off, and they told him no and that the repairs will be complete by Friday. My husband was upset, so we asked the insurance company why they had given the go-ahead to repair the vehicle without talking to us. The insurance company said that they could legally not

I went to Auto Menders to get an estimate on a front bumper that had come loose. Jeff came out and took a look. Went into the shop and brought out a plug and fixed it on the spot. Took my car to AutoMenders with the recommendation of a friend (auto adjuster). Great people to work with. I had issues with an aftermarket bumper and they were willingly able to work with me (auto repair usually don’t do anything aftermarket).
