went in to have an aftermarket catalytic converter installed in my subaru for cheap. the car sounded like a nascar racer after. Took it into meineke and they showed me that one of the gaskets was missing and the part was not correctly fitted to my engine. these mechanics are not AAA certified and should not be trusted. the 4.6 google rating is not reflective of the quality of service. maybe routine jobs they can do but anything beyond that don't bother. Unlike the franchise businesses, they will never upsell you with anything you do not need. When they suggest a service, it’s because it is needed. I have had second opinions before which always confirmed what they had already told me. I trust these mechanics completely, and will continue to use them for any auto repair, whether minor or major. They care and fix it right! I have compared their quotes with other mechanic shops in Richardson and they have always been competitive in their pricing.
