Firestone Complete Auto Care

I got a flat on Naaman school road on January 1 and this Firestone was thankfully open. I drove over and they were able to put a donut on my car within minutes of me arriving. Corey, who was working the front desk, was friendly, helpful, and saw how stressed I was to have my 4 year old with me AND have a flat on Jan 1. He didn't charge me for the flat, which was such a blessing. Thanks, Firestone! A+ service for this stressed mama!

Waited for 2.5 hours for an oil change when I had an appointment. I got there and told the man I had an appointment and he basically told me I don’t have an appointment as I am looking at the email confirmation on my phone. He then tells me it’s going to be an hour for the oil change. As annoying as this was, I said okay and decided to wait in the lobby. Then after an hour passed, I was told I needed to replace both engine filters and agreed, but they said it’ll be 15 minutes for them to get them from the shop next door. Again, annoyed but I agreed to wait. Another hour and a half passed. I had to ask 3 separate times on the status of my car to be told “it’ll be another 10 minutes” every time. Finally, when I tell them I am going to leave and to just forget it, they magically pull my car around with both filters in. So annoying and such a waste of time. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

I would recommend for their alignment services. I would *NOT* recommend them for mechanical work. They frequently recommend work that is not needed. On my last visit they misrepresented the age of my tires as being older and in worse condition than they were. They recommended replacing my battery, which was only 2 years old, brake fluid which was only a year old, and an oil/filter change which had been performed 2 DAYS before (the sticker was *ON* the windshield). The vehicle had *LITERALLY* been up on the rack at my mechanic of choice 2 days prior, and I had been under the vehicle *WITH* him. These tactics may work for the average owner who doesn't keep up with his maintenance, For the informed owner however they give at best the appearance of unethical behavior and at worst outright dishonesty.
