Les Schwab Tire Center

Don't go here if you need help! Ran my battery down while I was in a business. Called AAA for a jump. AAA tested battery and said it was good, gave me a jump, and told me to take it to Les Schwab or Auto zone to fully charge the battery. He said doing that is better than driving it around and having the alternator charge it. So I went here (this is about 3 pm), it was busy, which was fine with me. Was told it might take over an hour, again it was fine with me. At 430pm, the mechanic calls me to the bay, tells me my battery is good, and all I need to do is drive it around to charge it instead of waiting 4 hours. My car door is open, he's talking the entire time while he walks me to my door, and I get in. The next thing I know, I'm driving away, thinking, "What just happened?" I start driving around realizing it's our first heavy rainfall in months, the start of a 4 day weekend and rush hour on top of everything else! We drove from Michigan to Tigard for our daughter's wedding. Arriving in Oregon, we pulled into the driveway of our daughter and now son-in-law's new home and discovered that our left rear tire was almost flat! Our daughter and son-in-law recommended Les Schwab Tire Center, 15348 SW Pacific Highway in Tigard. The employees were super nice and extremely helpful. They were busy and we weren't sure whether the tire might just need air, so they put air in the tire and suggested we take an appointment (about an hour and a half out) and drive around a bit, saying that if we didn't return, they would know we were all set. We drove to a store, did a little shopping, and noted that the tire was already losing air. We returned within an hour, fully expecting to wait 1/2 hour. Shortly after arriving, our van was taken in and a few minutes later we were told that the tire had a razor blade in it, that the tire was repaired, and we were set to go. I was off of work early yesterday and my husband asked me to stop into Les Schwab to get 4 new tires and alignment in preparation for the possible snow this weekend. It was extremely busy at this location with a full lobby and I did not have an appointment. The assistant manager Ben took the time to to help me pick out the best tires for my car, go over quotes, and get me out of the store all under an hour and a half. Best Experience at a Les Schwab!
