Canyon Auto Repair and Collision, Body and Paint

After multiple tries they gave up painting my door, but refused to refund me. The first time I came to pick up my car there was so much dirt in the paint job they agreed to repaint it. The second time they gave it to me with black marker circles still on the paint where it still needed work. The last time there was still a lot of dirt and it was not matched or blended. There were also damages to the vehicle. Believe it or not, my insurance company thought it was so bad, they paid to have another shop redo the job.

Having driven my 2012 KIA Forte (M/T) over 154K miles it was bound to start having issues. While this isn't about how well KIA has built these cars this is the first time I had to actually take it to a mechanic for engine trouble. That all being said, Canyon Auto Repair was great in working on the car and getting it back to me as quickly as possible. Given my mechanical issue wasn't so severe, they were able to get my car back to me within 36 hours. They provided me with clear explanation of what my issue was, their solution, and ETA of when the car would be ready for pick up. Prices on labor can be a bit high for my taste but at the same time I'm sure it's comparable to other shops in town or better than the dealership mechanic shop. I don't stress when I take my car there for repair or maintenance they know what they are doing.

I used canyon auto to repair my 2016 Honda Civic. It needed new drivers side rear suspension components and new sway bar link. My two complaints on this shop are really they’re price and amount of time it took to fix my car. If your going to pay cash I highly suggest going to any number of shops other then this one. I dropped my car off 9/30/21 picked it up 10/18/21. Paid $350 for them to look at it and tell me what all was wrong with it 9/30 got told it would be $2,531.49 to fix it and work would be done and they wanted $1,000 deposit.10/9/21 show up and the car is not done. Get told the rear sway bar link didn’t come with the part they ordered and now they will be special ordering one for a additional $54.24 and part will come in 10/18/21. The final nail in the coffin for me to never use this place was charging me the additional $54.24 and the extra week of waiting. I believe parts should have been fully confirmed and prices. So In total I paid $2,935.73. And didn’t have my car for 1
