Conrad's Tire Express & Total Car Care

Tires were changed well. Now I'm working on changing my breaks last place to touch the tires were these guys. They did not use proper torque on the tires. I'm having to pull way too hard for 80 ft lbs of torque to have been used.

Tried to charge me $400 for lug nuts that are $4.99 a piece ($100 for the whole car)at Auto Zone. I tell them they are no where near that price online and They rudely say “we don’t order our parts on Amazon”. I say these aren’t from amazon, they’re from auto zone, where you say you do order from… so this makes no sense. I also just recently had a back tire changed by triple A with no issue, lug nuts easily in and out, but an actual tire center can’t change my tires without brand new $400 lug nuts? Give me a break. They were also an hour late for my appointment. My appointment was at noon, they don’t call me until 1:15pm and tell me about the lug nut issue. Then I had to wait another 45 minutes for them to get my car down and back to me after I told them they can cancel the service because I’m not paying for $400 lugnuts. I’ll go buy them myself and take the car elsewhere. Why even make an appointment if you’re not going to get right in? I wasted 2 and half hours of my day on this for n

They found the best deal for me for the tires that I needed and the service was worth the bit more of a charge. They also did a very good inspection of the underside and possible repairs that will be needed in the future. Nothing was high pressure.
