Hudson's Automotive Service

Hudson's changed my Honda Odyssey timing belt, serpentine belt, engine oil, and antifreeze in 1 day at a competitive price. I had a good feeling about this place when my goto (Muffler Bros on N. Fairfield) (also fantastic) recommended them.

I brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic due to noise, they called me the next day and told me it would be over $1000 to fix it, and they said they couldn't show me the problem and I paid them $85 just for them to look at it. I took it to a different mechanic and they said it was just a lose screw and they fixed it the same day in a matter of a half hour (now the vehicle runs fine). I feel taken advantage of bringing it here and now im thinking if they even really diagnosed the vehicle or not or did they just listen to it and took a guess and charged me money for "diagnostic". It seems like more and more mechanics just try to steal your money and take advantage of customers looking for help. Find the one you trust and stick with them. Going to new mechanics will only cost you your first born at times.

I have been taking my car to Hudson's for years and I always get great service. Even if something doesn't go right...they will make it right. It only happened 1x but I took my car in for new breaks. Got the new breaks and the next day ..some weird sound was coming from my breaks. I called and talked to Chris..he was like bring it in. I brought my car back and he rode in the car with me..so he could hear it. He heard it as well.. I left the car and they ordered a whole new set of breaks and replaced them all. Some times it's not the shop but a bad product and Chris made it right. Recently I took my car in just for a tire rotation and I explained to Austin that we were down to 1 car so I would have to wait for it. As soon as I got there..Austin took the car in..rotated the tires and was done in about 20 to 30 min. I so appreciated how they took care of me...as it's difficult being down 1 car in a family. They are honest and hard working. Services: Tires, Auto engine tuning, Oil change
