Precision Tune Auto Care

I was here last week to get an inspection. I arrived around 9, and they were busy, and they said it might take a few hours, like 2-3p. I saw the car being moved around 10a, and was happy about that. After an hour, I asked if the inspection was done, and they said they hadn't taken it in. So I continued to wait, and asked again about it a few hours later. Apparently the car had been done at 10:30, and no one told me it was done, even after I asked. The manager said they called me, and I showed him that there was no phone call received from them. I was beyond upset that I had waiting there for almost 5.5 hours, when I could have left after 2. I am glad the location in Cary knows what they are doing, as I've NEVER had an issue there.

The technicians diagnose the vehicle and then Kevin and/or Matt will go over in detail services needed and even being proactive to advise you of what service will be needed for your next schedules service or maintenance cycle.. Went here a few weeks ago for an oil change & tire rotation. They called me & told me they were unable to rotate my tires because the key lock was warped. At pickup they gave me a different wheel lock that supposedly would work. Which seems like a very nice thing to do. Fast forward to this weekend, I went to a shop to replace my tires where they told me the wheel lock key was warped, the one precision gave me. The shop was unable to do anything & i was unable to find elsewhere to remove the lock. Which resulted in me being unable to have my tired replaced. So the seemingly nice & helpful thing they did was actually quite harmful. When I called precision tune & yes I was angry the manager acted like nothing wrong was done & I should be thankful they tried to "help." Missing the point that they actually caused unnecessary stress & a huge problem for me. Services: Tire rotations, Oil change
