Gunnar is a hidden gem on the border of Chapel Hill and Carrboro. The service was excellent, Gunnar gave me total confidence that he understood my 2014 Mini Cooper Clubman and that I was in good hands. Came to Automotion* in ~2018 for routine maintenance on a 2002 Acura. Service was good and reasonably quick, and prices seemed fair. However, on the way to pickup, they mentioned that the clutch was worn down and would need to be replaced soon. They offered to replace it now, which would be an expensive add-on. I said no thanks. At pickup, they again said the clutch definitely was going to give out soon, did I want it replaced? I said no again. It's 2022 and I have been driving the car almost daily since then. Well, they don't do alignments. But they did good work on my SO's gulf.
