Luther Brookdale Toyota Service Department

Very rude, reckless and worst technician advisor I ever had. I made appointment about a week ago to get replace my 2004 Toyota highlander power steering drive belt for July 12/2023 at 4:00pm.I took my car a little bit before 4:00 pm and checked in . I instructed to go to waiting area until the service done. after 2 hours wait which is around 6:00 pm, the rude and reckless technicians advisor came to the customer waiting area and called my last name, I say yes and stood up. I thought my car is done because I stayed 2 hours. He said to me that he does not have the part after 2 hours waiting. He should have let me know right away instead of let me to sit 2 hours. He said he needs to order part from the other toyota dealer and will take another 2 hours to get the part and fix it. When I asked him that I already waited here 2 hours and you wanted me to sit here another 2, he said you can take the car or let me know what you want us to do. .I had to leave the car there and came to home unti

We’ve bought two vehicles from Luther. After our last appointment, we’re completely done with the service department and unfortunately I’m going to look elsewhere for our next vehicle purchase. The issue, as far as I can tell is from one or more of the following: 1. Terribly managed operation with too many involved individuals who don’t communicate well. 2. Indifference to quality service, but enthusiastic about unnecessary upselling. I get that upselling is part of the trade, but in environment where there is not accountability to providing value and quality service… well, this place has lost my trust. Over the years, this problems has manifested to the point that I am now writing this review.

I've been shopping/buying and servicing my vehicles here for 13 years, and the service is the best. They don't try to up sell you on products more than anyone else, but they do listen to you.
