I had a great experience with Abbott Street Auto and I definitely plan to return to them in the future. My car broke down and they took the time to research the most cost-effective solutions for me. They communicated with me regularly and explained my options, their recommendations, and their reasoning. As someone who doesn’t know much about cars, I really appreciated their patience and explanations. In the end, they were able to get my car back on the road and it runs great. Moreover, I needed the car by a deadline to make it to an out-of-town meeting, and they went above and beyond to get my car to me in time for me to leave and make it to my event. I’ve been to Abbott Street Auto a few times now for my very particular 2000 chrysler sebring classic and every time leave feeling comfortable that she’s in good hands. Their communication is great throughout the whole process and I love being able to see all the findings with photos in their comprehensive vehicle inspection report. Came in for service on my 2001 Lexus430 LS. Needed a safety inspection and a splash shield repair or replacement. I had an appointment and they addressed my problem timely. My splash shield could not be repaired, but an original equipment part was found and could be obtained and installed 3 days later. Last summer I brought the same car in when a rodent ate through the alternator wires. They diagnosed the problem, located the part needed, and repaired it. They are friendly,efficient and professional. They provide photo's of the problem, and keep you posted on the repair progress. Their pricing is very competitive. They may not walk on water but I would recommend them to anyone needing service and repair on their out of warranty Lexus vehicle.
