Pep Boys

I'm not sure what to make of this location. The actual work on the car has been fine, the waiting room is a mess and uncomfortable. The whole communication gambit is weird. It takes a really long time to get the work done, which would be fine if they told you that up front, but they make it seem like it's going to be really fast. Which is interesting, because appointments are only seemingly important on their end, if you as a customer are a few minutes late, they make a really big deal about it. But then again, if it takes an extra hour on their end to do what normally takes 1 hour, then it's all no big deal. Also, i'm not sure why they have you pay when it's going to be another 20 or 30 minutes before they bring your car out. You go and pay for the order, wait another 20 or 30 minutes for them to bring the car up front, then they do, and you're waiting for the keys, but they won't give you the keys when they come around because they don't believe the car is yours, so then they have to

I had my daughter’s Buick Encore serviced for a punctured tire and the service was awesome. Kudos to Mr. Corey who was really friendly and very efficient in delivering customer service. This is definitely one of the best Pep Boys in Maryland.

January 6/2024…Let me just say haven’t been to Pep Boys for anything auto in about 15 years. I have 2015 Lexus RX 350, 2 different occasions in 3 weeks my battery voltage died and needed a jump start. This is the first time needing a battery since purchasing the truck in 2018. I called Pep Boys first spoke with Andrew and he assured me that they had the battery and they were also able to install. Once arriving at Pep Boys..Andrew greeted me at the service desk, took my information-name, address, phone and email address. He gave me options of batteries based on cost along with warranty-4 years. He also stated that it would take approximately 1 hour to install. I could see in the waiting area it was three other customers waiting before me, so it was no problem waiting one hour. Exactly when the time was up and technician had completed the task of installing my battery Pep Boys sent a text with alerting me that my vehicle was ready to be picked up.
