Elite Automotive

I highly recommend Elite Automotive in Covington. I use them for my personal vehicles, as well as for our nonprofit work fleet (WAVE Foundation at Newport Aquarium). They are honest, reliable and knowledgeable. I trust them to do what they say they will do and keep costs as low as possible.

*honest unbiased experience with Elite Automotive.* My check engine light was blinking but my car would start, however my engine was making noises and running roughly. I researched thoroughly to find an honest mechanic so I called Elite (given their reviews) and they looked at my car a week later. After a few days I went to get my car. They said it was a faulty battery cable and they put an $11 bolt in it to get better connection. They charged me $200 and they WOULDN’T let me test drive it before paying. I asked what a faulty battery cable had to do with the engine light blinking and they gave me a long story that basically meant it didn’t have anything do with it. As you could have guessed, the NEXT day my car broke down while driving it - the check engine light started blinking and now my car isn’t drivable at all. I called Elite back expecting them to diagnose it for free a second time or return my money - which they denied. I immediately called another auto shop (Ulmer’s Auto Care)

They do the best automotive work. I highly recommend.
