My deceased father Jake was a customer of C & L Auto. C & L Auto is holding me/family responsible for a dead man’s debt in order to release my dad’s car to me. The car has been held at C & L Auto for ransom since September 2020 when C & L were aware of Jake's death. C & L Auto told me they would junk the car. I am not liable/responsible for any charges by C & L Auto in regards to this car as I am not their customer. I did not agree to any costs or fees billed by C & L Auto. Louis Grout Jr., AKA “Little Lou” was provided a Petition to Dispense in March 2021 to dispense assets to me, not for me to dispense to C & L Auto. Little Lou at C & L Auto told me Big Lou AKA Louis Albert Grout II, owner of C & L Auto: “He won’t release the car until payment though.” “That’s why I’m saying bring $100 then you can have it.” “I’m not trying to be mean but are you still planning to pick up your dad’s old car? Like I said there is a $100 to that needs to be paid before the car can be picked up.”

This shop works on our fleet vehicles, good business with good prices, they are very respectful of your property in your vehicles, and they do very good work. And they do it all from oil to engines, brakes and body work. Great place!!

I took my car to C & L to get my steering shaft replaced and a all around alignment. They replaced the steering shaft properly but did a terrible job on my alignment. I bought 2 new back tires not even a month ago and now have to buy two more because they got tore up from the alignment not being properly done. Keep in mind my tires are low profile so I will now have to spend $400 for two new tires
