AAA North Riverside Car Care Plus

Wow- I had a really unpleasant experience. I was sent to this shop from my AAA tow man who stated he didn’t have the correct battery on hand for me. When I arrived at the store I was aggressively told that it is “not my problem” that the battery provided to me by AAA originally was dysfunctional. I was denied service for no discernible reason. When I asked for a jump home since the car is literally dead in the parking lot and I was also denied this. I asked for a manager and was told I could call tomorrow. I will be making a formal complaint with the company- I have never been treated so poorly in my existence by a customer sales rep. I was yelled at in front of other customers which was humiliating. I had to walk across the street to costo to buy a jumper pack while sitting in front of a battery repair shop, because the staff felt it was “not their problem” to help me. I’ve been a AAA member for 12 years.

Last year they didn’t want to recharge my a/c. Several calls were made, and they told me the schedule was booked 3 weeks out. My wife called and the guy tells her they can do it same day, that they operate on first come, first served basis. We drove for 5 minutes to drop off the car, and then they told me “someone had just got there in line ahead of us”. The poor guy tried to tell his manager he just talked to us on the phone, but the manager said they couldn’t do it. I was hoping they had gotten better, so I called today to see about scheduling an oil change (I’ve had no issues in the past, they have been very professional and good at the work). But after being on hold for 10 minutes with no explanation (are they busy assisting customers? Are they short staffed?) I hung up. After reading other reviews, we will take our business elsewhere.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I pulled in with a flat tire and went to the desk to ask about having my spare put on. I explained we, my Mom and I, were AAA members. We were told they were too busy to help. They had three cars inside and didn't appear to be doing anything with them. They told us we had to call the AAA roadside service. I almost fainted! Are u serious we are outside your service center doors and we have to call for help and wait. He said yes. I went to the customer service desk and they said they could not call it in because they only sale the insurance. What a laugh! So u can have three people sale insurance, two at desks doing not sure what and three in the service center and no one can help a customer. I told my Mom it was time to cancel this insurance and go with another one who actually appreciated their customers.
