Elgin Hyundai Service & Parts Center

It was my first time here and I am glad that I found the permanent car service center for my cars. I love the way people take care of your issues and concerns. I believe this is the best car service in whole Illinois. Nice waiting area with some tea coffee and snacks, not all is free though. Employees are really professional and they don't rush while speaking with you.

Service Dept is disorganized and unreliable. I bought my car from this dealership and have always scheduled service here as well. I spoke with Ron last week regarding making an appt for a tire replacement. He assured me the tire would arrive for my appointment today. I make the 1 hour drive for my scheduled appointment and am told they were not aware of my appointment and did NOT order the tire I needed. All they could say was how sorry they were as there was nothing they could do. This was an extremely disappointing experience and i doubt I’ll ever come back just to be inconvenienced and waste 2 hours of my life!

I went in with an appointment to get my car inspected due to a check engine light issue. Took them over two weeks to diagnose the issue. They never provided me with any updates, I had to constantly call to get any information. Even when I did call, they never were able to provide me with any substantial information. When I asked the guy helping to give me updates, he yelled at me and tried to say they were accommodating me considering I didn't have an appointment. I had to foot the bill for a rental car for two weeks and had no idea what was wrong with my car because they wouldn't even give me any details. One occasion, the best answer he could give, after having my car for a week and a half, was that it was making a knocking noise and that's all they knew. I called the next day and someone else told me I needed a new engine. I've honestly had better service at a Firestone. Not once did I ever feel like they appreciated my business.
