Bucktown Auto Repair

Took my car here after the check engine light came on. Got a call an hour later that it was going to be a $1000+ repair. Took it elsewhere for a second opinion and they told me it was a simple computer issue (which we confirmed with the dealer later, happened to be a recall on the car we didn't know about). So my evaluation? These guys tried to make a quick buck off of me. Always get a second opinion (but don't let your first or second opinion come from these con artists).

My car had so many problems and i was having problems all the time. My car is hybrid engine and that was a lot of problems with the battery. After searching a few mechanics, they were able to fix problems. Their prices is fair and i was happy with the job they have done. Good thing i like about them, They were not just trying to sell parts or put a lot of hours for labor. They figured out the problem and they were good what they did. I recommend them. Thank you guys!

I've been coming to this place ever since it was Bucktown Auto. They were good then and they're still good now. As long as you're not a complete car oaf and you can somewhat describe your issue, they'll fix it. They've been nothing but nice to me and they've fixed all my issue (brakes pads and rotors, A/C) really fast. Most reliable mechanic in the city.
