Had a great experience working with Isaac who was professional, knowledgable and trust worthy (all around a great person to work with who stayed in touch with me the whole time to ensure I understood everything regarding what needed to be fixed, time lines and insurance protocols etc). He handled everything on the insurance side for me which was much appreciated. anytime I need something moving forward in terms of car repairs, ill be going back to Scotty’s to work with Isaac and I recommend others go to Scotty’s as well as you’ll be satisfied with your experience!
Had a catalytic converter replaced here for a 2015 Corolla for $2000 several months ago. I repeatedly told the mechanic that I would be moving back to California and that the catalytic converter he installs must be CARB compliant. I was reassured that it was. I'm back in California and it would not pass emissions due to the catalytic converter and now have to get it replaced again. Untrustworthy shop.
After 2 failed attempts to schedule me in their busy schedule, I randomly brought my car in on memorial weekend (Saturday) and they were kind enough to work on the car same-day. I needed it later that day, so they were a lifesaver for being able to work on it on such a short notice. My car was experiencing squeaking/rattling noise while braking. They were able to diagnose the problem and fix it for me. For the cost, full brake service ran me $525/ea for front + back. Brake fluid flush was $189. I’d say cost is in line with the industry average imo. I’m glad I didn’t have to jump through BS hoops like other shops so I’m glad they gave it to me straight and did what they needed to do. I’d come back here again for other services and I’d recommend it as a place with competitive pricing + excellent mechanics + no BS shop
