I went to another mechanic because my transmission needed repair. The clutch was ruined and it wouldn't go into 5th gear. The other mechanic replaced the clutch, but gave me a quote so high to replace the transmission, it would have come to more than my car was worth. So, I drove the car without a 5th gear for almost 2 years while I saved for a new car. I took it to Connecticut Auto Repair for a second opinion, on a whim, before purchasing a new car. They were able to repair it quickly, and for 1/3 of the price I was quoted at the other place. I"m thrilled to have my car back! This mechanic is also really friendly! They're great, honest people who care about our community. I will never take my car anywhere else. I am very grateful and will refer all my friends and colleagues.
