Brakes Plus

Went to get a check-up to see what's wrong with the exhaust. And I don't know why they look at my oil engine, took the cap off, and forgot to put it on. I drove home with oil spilled everywhere on my engine, and the hood started smoking. Lucky I checked, or else I don't know how bad it would be. Came back, and they cleaned it and said, "Im sorry". Unreal. The rest of the team was great except for the mechanic who check my car and store manager. Wasted an hour of my life, thanks for the headaches.

Visited this Thornton location of Brakes Plus to see if they could any better with their prices to replace the brake pads (premium pads, not the economy one) and rotors on the rear brakes of my Honda, and was pleasantly surprised that their prices were about one -third to a half of a Honda dealer's price quote. It took them about an hour longer than promised, but I was willing to wait a bit longer if the savings were that significant. Free Wi-Fi (a bit slow) and coffee/water, maybe about 8-10 seats in the lobby waiting area. Parking is free but not too many spaces. Brakes Plus will not sell or service tires, though. Overall, recommended as a very viable alternative to dealer's prices.

They were very kind and efficient. The manager gave me a straight forward diagnostic and was very detailed in the parts and expenses needed. They gave me a break down of mandatory work and other repairs that may need to be done soon. Car runs great and will definitely go back. Service: Auto engine diagnostic
