I highly recommend Ramirez Automotive! Very honest and fair prices. My engine seized and before they did any work they recommended I contact the dealership to see if they would do anything for me. Turns out the dealer is replacing my engine, saved me a lot of money!

Went to Ramirez West on a family member’s recommendation. My experience at first was good when Fred was able to replace the motor in my pickup and get me in right away. That experience drastically changed once I got my truck back. When I call to get an update on the truck Fred spends 10 minutes talking about another customers vehicles and all the difficulties their repair was but then gives you minimal info on your own vehicle. When I picked up the truck I heard a ticking from the motor bay. I found the spark plug was barely in the hole, I was able to finger tighten until Fred came back to the shop to tighten them down. Then as I get home, my truck starts to over heat. Longer story short, i was quoted $1400 (third party I live 2hrs away) to get my truck towed back to Ramirez West for him to correct his mistakes after already spending thousands. He promises to do his due diligence yet I continue to find loose ends. My truck is now sitting at another mechanics shop (one I sincerely trust

Doesn't even deserve a star! Had my car taken in twice to get fixed for the same problem because it wasn't fixed the first time correctly, only to be charged for it when it should have been done for free since it was their error! Yet again I am having the same issue that I should NOT be having! Should have listened to family members that had gone though the same experience with him! This place is a joke and a rip off! Will NEVER do business with them again!!
