I’ll try to keep this short. I got a brand new c300 last December. I got it with a cracked windshield - they offered a free service at the 1 year mark as an apology. Within a couple months I notice my driver door is loose on the hinges, scratching the rear door with every open/close and tearing the weather strip. Simple fix, right? Wrong. I take it in and after 3-4 attempts (I honestly lost count) they finally get it right. Each time it was “fixed” and “double checked” by my service rep Matt and ready for pick up I travel all the way over there to realize it is in fact not fixed at all. In fact, the passenger door’s weather strip began to tear during these visits and I notice the passenger side doors aren’t aligned at all. Not to mention a scratch appeared on the top of my trunk during these visits. So instead of things getting fixed, problems were only getting created during these visits. Matt, my service advisor was excellent. He did his homework about my car and knew all about it as soon as I checked in. My C350 is special as it only has 4800 miles and is 15 years old. Most of the mileage was incurred driving to and from service. My wife, a native German, always wanted a Mercedes, so in 2008 she realized her dream. She never drove it though. She covered it and it stayed in the garage where she could admire it. Sadly, she passed away June 15, 2023, so it is up to me to maintain this tribute and memorial to her.

Every detail was completely transparent and we felt very confident about our purchase deal. It has been almost 2 years since, and my car has had the regular usage issues such as flat tires and regular oil changes and system updates. Everyone from in the service center is courteous and polite. From the first moment that I am met at valet parking, to my service provider James who has constantly followed through my car needs and has returned my car to me with finished repairs that meet my standards and a complimentary car wash every time. When I am ready for a new car, I will mostly definitely return to Mercedes Benz of Walnut Creek!!!
