Horrible communication from the auto body side of this business. What should’ve been a simple bumper replacement took four weeks due to the lack of planning and communication. Called after 3 weeks to find out nothing had been done to the vehicle yet, and that they were “waiting for parts”. After 4 full weeks of waiting we showed up at the business to ask, and found the vehicle done and ready… but no one called to let us know. Come to find out, they finished all the work in the course of a few days. That meant we spent 3 full weeks struggling with carpooling, spending money on Ubers, running late to work, even walking home, and the entire time they had our vehicle not doing any work to it. I’ve never used a shop that has worked like this, they’ve always made sure to have the parts and paint ready before they make the appointment. Our vehicle was 100% drivable and did not need to be held from us for such a long time. When we came to pick it up we were given no information or explanations

Thanks to Mike’s auto body in Walnut Creek for doing a terrific job on my Honda insight. Jason was my contact person and he always kept me abreast of what was going on. Mike’s is my go to auto body shop unfortunately.

I recently had my car repaired at Mike's Auto Body on Broadway in Walnut Creek. There was minor damage to the front bumper area. While I was there, they showed me what things they could see that needed repair and emailed me a repair estimate. While doing the work, they discovered a bit more than needed to be done, so upped the estimate proportionately. During the week my car was there they were great at communicating with me, primarily via text updates and an occasional phone call. Everyone was courteous and efficient, and so this ended up being a very positive experience. Based on this experience, I can recommend them without reservation. Services: Painting, Body & Trim
