APA Total Car Care - Auto Repair in Queen Creek, AZ

I am new to this location but my first impression were very good based on the cleanliness and how well the entire place was organized. All of the personnel were friendly and easy to work with. I had a warranty through a 3rd part company and APA told me they could handle the claim, so I took it in. When I dropped it off, they just took the key and said they would contact the warranty company. I told them to take their time since this was a spare vehicle and I didn't wanna spend a lot if they weren't going to cover it. About 3 weeks later after some confusion with the warranty company, they authorized the repair but only would cover $5000. APA told me the repair would be $10K to $12K, so I was best off to get a used engine which would run me about $8K installed, so I would be responsible for the rest. This was for a timing chain on a 2005 Audi. I called back and told them I would just pick it and I was sure there was a diagnostic fee I would need to pay. They told me it was $1100!!! For a diagnostic!!! They said it's because the labor to take the valve covers off and inspect. First of all, I was expecting a standard diagnostic of around $175 or maybe a little more sin

APA total car care of Queen Creek, specifically their custom shop was a good experience. This location from what I was told is very busy, it took me a good while to get on the books and get scheduled, but once they got my car in, it was out within one day, as fast as they said it would be. The pricing was great. What I would like to emphasize on is the work done, I had my 1993 Foxbody Mustang under the knife to get some 4.10 gears installed, the tech who performed the work was Travis. Travis informed me of this business on a Foxbody forum, he builds and races these cars himself so I definitely felt comfortable letting him perform the work. He did a great job on the gears and bearings install. If you have a Foxbody, bring it here! I look forward to getting more work on the pony done here.
