First, I walked in for my appointment and was the only customer in the office. Two employees were there and neither acknowledged me for at least 1 minute until I finally said.. “hi I’m here for my appointment?” They weren’t very friendly once they acknowledged my existence. Then once they looked at my car they tried to tell me I needed multiple items done (fluid flushes, struts etc) most of which I had just had done less than a year ago. Most of these things you do every 30k miles or 2 years and I hadn’t even gone half of that mileage. They also tried to say my check engine light was on which it hadn’t been when I got there. And that it would cost $160-$320 to run diagnostics. I pressed them on this and they checked the car again and then the light miraculously went off! (And has not come back on in the weeks since). These recommended items totaled over $2500 plus tax. There was only 1 items on their list I thought may be truly neeeded and so I left without having them do any work.

Martin’s Auto always does excellent work on whatever maintenance my car needs. They have foresight to recommend only those future areas that may need repair at a future time based on wear & tear.
