Excellent company, ethical and honest! I usually go to the San Tan Spencer's, but they were really busy and I had a decent coolant leak that needed quick repair. I tried a National chain that does "brakes plus" other work, and they initially said I needed $2500 worth of coolant system repairs. They said my whole coolant system "exploded" at the same time, and that they see a few Toyotas per year that do this. I left there and called the Florence Spencer's who got me in the next business day, they found a loose hose clamp was the only problem, and saved me $2400 dollars, thanks Spencer's for being honest, and quality mechanics!! Needed a fuel pressure sensor installed for a 2004 Ford Explorer. Called last Wednesday to Spencer’s off Arizona Farms. Was quoted $480 out the door. Made appointment for that Thursday. When I was there to drop off vehicle,, was quoted $588. I said okay, but first make sure it’s the fuel sensor and call me beforehand. Received call from office person lady and was quoted $700. At that point I sad no! I’ll pick the vehicle and get done somewhere else. The manager said the increase in pricing was due to they had to use OEM Ford parts because of the 3 year warranty. Sensor was $393 from Ford. Asked manager for the Ford part # and he gave it to me. Went to O’REILLYS, same part number and same warranty for $119. I’ve seen O’reillys parts being dropped off there over the years I got oil changed there. Highly suspicious of a price gouging. Use Spencer’s for over 5 years but no more.
