Super shady business. Let them do my shocks and WAS going to get ball joints done. Shocks they put on were some off brand junk. Came time to get ball joints done and got a call from them an hour after I dropped the vehicle off. They "claimed" that they needed a tool to do my balljoints that they didn't have. Said they couldn't get it until Monday. Also told me that the estimate they gave me was only for one side when it clearly stated on the estimate that the job called for ALL the balljoints. Dude told me he would call me back on Monday. STILL waiting for a call 6 weeks later. Got the balljoints done, an oil change, and my coolant topped off at McGoverns for the same price that was originally quoted by the crooks at CarX. Had very similar experiences at 2 other "chain" repair shops. Definitely support UNethical business practices at this facility. Would NOT recommend taking your vehical here....unless you like to be lied to and ripped off. Service: Steering & suspension repair

I love Car X in Oshkosh! They have come to my rescue a couple times in the last months by reattaching a heat shield at no charge, and then discovering I had very bad brakes which they were able to fix that very day. Today I stopped in and mentioned that I have a squeak in my brakes. Immediately they took the car to the back, looked it over thoroughly and were able to eliminate the squeaky brakes. When I ask what I ordered, they said “no charge”. They are always honest and above board. This is the place to go Car X, staff, you rock! Service: Brakes

I have been a long time customer at Car-X Tire in Oshkosh. We brought our car in unexpectedly when my son decided to mess with the locking system preventing our door from latching. They were so generous and helpful, fixing the problem before we had to leave the next day on a family vacation in which we were taking our car. I have never had a problem with Car-X or their staff. They have always been helpful, and responsive to all communication. When there are repairs needed on my car they contact me ahead of time to make sure I understand the reasoning for the fix. I would highly recommend using Car-X in Oshkosh for all your car needs! Great company to support.
