I came in for an emissions test after finding them online, and was on my way maybe 15 minutes later. The guy that helped me was personable and friendly. For all the 1 star reviews regarding emissions testing, if you read their reviews, the tone of the review is frustration with the testing process itself, not this shop. Honestly we all should be thankful they are still doing the emissions test, it is nearly impossible to find a place still doing the tests these days. The only thing is it can be hard to find parking, and the hours on the sign are different than what is stated on the phone. Right now it is M-F 12-3. Also if you fail your emissions test, that's your car's fault, they aren't trying to steal you money. Don't take your frustration's out on a bad review of this place.
I can't speak highly enough about this shop and the people. Phenomenal work, great customer service, great environment! Highly recommend!
I visited First Rate Auto for my emissions test - they were so friendly and the service was great! They did the test, put air in my tires, and renewed my registration in less than 10 minutes.
