Hansen's Auto Service Center

The owner here regularly gives me honest quotes and sometimes even surprises me with a bill that's lower than the quote. I _always_ feel respected here. (I'm a queer, female-presenting person of color obviously from elsewhere, and I have had problems with disrespect at other male-owned auto shops in WI.) Finally, the explanations of what's going on with my vehicle are always crystal-clear, without any kind of mystification. I ask a lot of questions, and the employees here are always patient with me. I feel really lucky to have found a new place to get work done on my aging car. Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection, Transmission repair, Oil change

My car had been having some issues and when I finally called for a mechanic, I had so many issues until I called Hansen's. They didn't talk down to me like I didn't know anything, and they charged fair prices for everything! They had me in and out quickly, were very communicative, and absolutely some of the sweetest people I've talked to. Cannot recommend them enough!

I’ve never had such a great experience at a mechanic! I went in with a small problem with my windshield wiper- I was met with amazing customer service and would recommend Hansen’s to anybody. Tyler was extremely helpful and made a quick fix. I’m glad to have found a good, honest mechanic in Madison!
