This was about 5 years ago, for what it's worth. Bought a full set of new, high quality tires (Continental) from Chet's, paying a premium price. I know, I know, should've gone to a tire retailer. Thought it would be worth it for the convenience of overlapping the visit with my annual synthetic oil change. Three weeks later, I found one tire had a slow leak. When I returned to Chet's, they charged me for a "puncture repair" ($25, I think), plus two hours sitting in their waiting area. Slow leak remained. Two months later, took my car to the dealership for a recall repair. Asked them to fix the slow leak in that same tire. They found it was a faultily installed valve, not a puncture. I was able to drop off my vehicle right away for a 100k maintenance. The team at Chet’s did a thorough inspection of my car, found an issue with a tire rod on my car. They called to advise of the issue and were able to replace the tire rod and get the maintenance work done before the end of their business day.
