These guys are fixers with a can do attitude. Their pricing is fair and working with them is fantastic. I can't believe I'm saying this but I was absolutely a "delighted" customer. My car problem was that my engine had an unsealed spark plug and a stripped spark plug hole. My usual mechanic told me the car (2001 Land Cruiser) was done (because of age and mileage) and that they would install a new engine for $8800. Tony and Michol fixed the problem for approx $300. Going to the mechanic to get my car looked at/fixed is to me what going to the dentist is for many other people - anxiety inducing, scary, and something I generally dread. However, I just had a fantastic experience at Scott Sherman Auto today that was as painless and stress free as possible, making me think I may just start singing a different tune. Here’s why: 1. From my initial call on Monday on, they have been helpful, patient, informative and transparent. 2. They were able to get my car in for a diagnostics appointment within 48 hours of my call and worked with my schedule for pick up timing. (Note - prior to calling here, I had already tried two other shops that were booked out for 3+ weeks!) 3. I went in for a check up, fearing a transmission replacement was in my near future… big yikes. It still might be, but that wasn’t the only option I was presented.
