AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

We broke down while moving our son to VA from NJ. All of a sudden, when starting on our way back to NJ, our car stopped moving. It seemed like the transmission broke without warning. We towed the car to this facility after hours and used the key drop that was offered. In the morning I called to explain what happened. They told me they’d check it out and call me as soon as they know what’s wrong. About an hour later they called and told us the rear drive axle broke and slipped out of the drive. They gave us a price and said it could be done in a couple hours. They had the perfect opportunity to take advantage but didn’t. They could have told us it was the trans and charged us thousands but they were honest and it cost about $700. This AAMCO is fair, quick and honest.
