Tune Up Plus

Been here twice now and both times have been great experiences. The shop is pretty busy as in the area its in and they service a lot of customers so getting there early is key. The inside is clean, service is sound, quality is great, and from my experience the communication has been excellent. This place is a great place to go to and a breath of fresh air.

Really wanted to give this place a chance after talking with the manager, Hunter, 2 months back. Very knowledgable, amiable. On Tuesday, 4/18, I call Tune Up Plus about getting my vehicle inspected. They said to come in first thing in the morning to drop it off. On Wednesday, 4/19, I go to drop my vehicle off for a state inspection at open: 7:30 AM. The workers were 25 minutes late. No matter; I trusted the service would make up for this one-off lateness. I was told at drop-off that I could leave car there and that he would call me back after it is inspected. I receive a call before noon to let me know that the mechanisms of the steering are deteriorated--to note: my car was working pretty fine, making no crazy noises. They quote me $1765 with a military discount. I thought them kind for replacing my rack and pinion so I could pass the inspection. They tell me it's a 7 hour job. And I trust them. Stay away from this company!!! As an international researcher and woman who came to the USA for two years, I was really disappointed with the injustice they did. My mistake was to trust without questioning and to pay in advance before the problem was solved. Although the price David gave us was high, we accepted when he said they would fix it in a few days. There was a noise in the right front part of the vehicle. They did diagnostic and they said it was caused by axles and suspensions. Since we are not mechanics, we trusted and did not question!!! We did not bargain in any way and accepted the price. We paid 1800 dollars for diagnostic fee, part replacement and inspection. They delivered the vehicle a week later and the sound was still there in a worse condition! They changed the right axle and suspension. The vehicle was not even aligned.
