Seats Transmission & Auto

Called them to get a 2nd quote. They suggested I try a simple fix first and it worked. They saved me a lot of money and it was nice to have a ship be honest rather than just try to makes some money off of an easy problem.

Me: (in person)I have a Murano with a CVT transmission making a grinding sound at low speeds. Please diagnose it. FYI, if it needs a new trans, I probably wont fix it. Chris Seats: (in person) OK. Ill let you know. 7 days elapse, no contact. I call 6 times. No calls are returned. I call to let them know I'm coming to get my car due to no contact, and the phone is answered. Me: Calling for an update on my Murano. Chris: Well, I can tell you there's a rubbing grinding sound at low speeds that is the transmission. Me: That's what I told you when I dropped it off. Did you diagnose it? What's causing the sound? Chris: Well, you told me you wouldn't replace it so... Me: Can it be repaired? Chris: We don't work on CVT transmissions. Me. Why didn't you tell me that when I dropped it off? Chris: Me: So this is the transmission shop that only REPLACES transmissions, not repairs. That would have been helpful to know when I dropped it off and told you I would not be replacing, only repairing. Chri

My first experience with Seats Transmissions was an outstanding one. A friend referred me. My SUV was making a whining sound from the rear and it got worse as I accelerated.
